Introduction

We are four sophomore high school students from the school Lestonnac in Barcelona. This year we had to do a research paper and we decided to do a technological and scientific project demonstrating how robotics can better our lives, not only for disabled people but also for our every day lives.

We’ve tried to copy the movements of a real hand and represent them through a bionic hand we’ve built. The human hand is very complex (over 25 degrees of freedom) so we had to simplify it by using only 6 degrees of freedom. In this blog you’ll be able to see our progress. At the top you can go to the project page, where you can see the detailed explanation.
